Over the past months, Citrix has announced changes impacting their extended partner network and their customers. These changes have presented challenges that may force Citrix customers to assess and migrate to alternative vendors and offerings. Such a transition needs to be rapid and seamless to ensure continued business continuity.
Parallels is excited to launch a special Parallels Migration Promotion through November 30, 2024 to help customers migrate to our proven Parallels virtualization and workspace solutions. For qualifying migrations, this limited-time offer will help organizations minimize migration costs during the transition by offering a free year of product use to end customers. For partners, this offer also includes an additional rebate based on the suggested promotional price of qualifying subscriptions as well as a rebate to certified gold and platinum partners for migration and deployment assistance.
Customers can leverage this promotion whether they are planning to continue deploying on-premises, deploy in the cloud, or use a hybrid approach. They can even integrate with Azure Virtual Desktop to enhance their Microsoft Azure experience.

What’s included?
- Customers will get one free year of Parallels RAS, Parallels Secure Workspace, or Parallels DaaS licensing, as part of a three-year pre-purchased subscription with a suggested promotional standard retail price of USD 50,000 or greater.
- Customers entering into a three-year pre-purchased subscription with a suggested promotional standard retail price of USD 100,000 or greater may also benefit from deployment and migration assistance from their certified gold and platinum partners who will get a rebate from Parallels for such assistance.
- For deployments on Microsoft Azure, customers may be able to apply their consumption commitments to Parallels RAS (only) licenses purchased via Azure marketplace, subject to the terms of such marketplace and third-party’s terms.
What products are eligible for this promotion?
Eligibility Requirements
- Customer must be currently licensing Citrix virtual app and desktop software, as evidenced by a Citrix license certificate.
- Customer cannot be currently licensing any Parallels products (other than Parallels Desktop and Parallels Browser Isolation).
- Customer is migrating from Citrix to Parallels RAS, Parallels Secure Workspace, and/or Parallels DaaS.
- Pre-purchased subscription must have a minimum term length of three years and a minimum suggested promotional standard retail price of USD 50,000.
- Customers must agree to serve as a public reference for Parallels, and sign a Parallels marketing release.
- To be eligible for potential benefits from deployment and migration assistance by certified gold and platinum partners, customer’s pre-purchased subscription must have a minimum term length of three years and a minimum suggested promotional standard retail price of USD 100,000 or greater.
General Terms and Conditions
- The promotion is effective from July 3, 2024, through November 30, 2024. To qualify for the promotion, all applicable licenses must be issued by Parallels by November 30, 2024.
- The promotion is available in the following regions: North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific (excluding Japan), Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
- For the avoidance of doubt, this promotion excludes Parallels Desktop, Parallels Browser Isolation (PBI) and Parallels RAS SPLA.
- Only new registered subscriptions approved and fulfilled by Parallels within the promotional period are eligible. Your partner (e.g., eligible reseller) will be responsible for deal registration. For clarity, this promotion does not apply to any renewals or extensions of existing Parallels subscriptions.
- To provide the promotional one year of free licensing to customers, Parallels will apply a one-time discount to qualified subscription orders.
- Deals with a single end customer will be considered a single deal and are subject to any caps outlined herein.
- Discounts provided under this promotion will not carry over upon renewal or extension of promotional subscriptions.
- This promotion is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
- Deals transacted directly by an OEM are not eligible.
- All standard terms and conditions of Parallels' services and licenses apply.
- This promotion may be modified or terminated at Parallels' discretion at any time, with or without notice.
- Decisions made by Parallels regarding the promotion qualifications and amounts are made at Parallel’s sole discretion and subject to change. The decision of Parallels in relation to any aspect of this promotion is final and binding. By participating in this promotion, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Compliance with Laws, Anti-corruption and Global Trade
By participating in the promotion, Customer represents that it has not and will not violate any applicable laws in relation to the promotion. Further, customer represents and warrants that it has not and will not violate any applicable anticorruption law, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.K. Bribery Act, in relation to the promotion. Customer represents and warrants that no entity has offered or provided anything of value to customer’s employees to improperly influence this deal.
Customer represents and warrants that it has not and will not violate any applicable trade sanctions and import/export control laws and regulations of any country in relation to this promotion. Any imposition of sanctions or export controls that prevents Parallels from performing under this promotion shall be considered Force Majeure.
Intellectual Property Rights
Nothing in this promotion shall be construed as a grant to either party of any ownership or other interest in any copyrights, patents, trademarks, know-how, inventions, trade secrets and registrations and applications for the registration thereof (“Intellectual Property”) of the other. All other company, product and service names, logos, brands or any registered or unregistered trademarks mentioned are used for identification purposes only and remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Use of any brands, names, logos or any other information pertaining to a third-party does not imply endorsement. We disclaim any proprietary interest in such third-party information, materials, marks and names of others.
Limitation of Liability
Parallels shall not be liable for any loss of profits or for special, consequential, incidental, indirect, reliance, punitive or exemplary damages, either in contract or tort, whether or not the possibility of such damages was disclosed to or could have been reasonably foreseen by Parallels.
Force Majeure
Parallels will not be liable for performance delays or for non performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
Taxes
Each party is responsible for its own income taxes or taxes based upon gross revenues, including, but not limited to, business and occupation taxes.
