Note on copyrighted material
Parallels respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. You should only create links and share files through Parallels Access that you have the legal right to share with others (for example, documents, photos, software, music, and videos that you personally created). Content that is protected by intellectual property law cannot be shared without prior permission from the rights owner or holder. Even if you purchased video, music, electronic books or software, it does not give you the right to share that material with third parties over the Internet. If you have any doubts about whether you have the legal right to share certain files, you should not share them. By using the File Sharing service you represent that files you are sharing do not violate Parallels’ Terms of Use and that you own all copyrights to such files or have been given permission by the copyright owner to share them.
Parallels does not claim any intellectual property rights in the materials that are shared using the File Sharing service. If you set your content to be viewed publicly, you agree that Parallels is entitled to allow others to view your content. Parallels does not pre-screen content that is shared, but Parallels reserves the right in our sole discretion to block or remove any content that may not comply with Parallels’ Terms of Use or which we believe infringes any third party copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Parallels reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to block you from sharing a particular file and/or to terminate your access to the File Sharing service completely if we believe that any file contains information which infringes the intellectual property rights of another without any liability to the User.
