In years past, the government council of Chelles relied on Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) to deliver Windows applications to its users on remote devices connected to their private cloud. However, the Chelles administration required a new virtualization solution that would enable them to centrally manage the solution and streamline installation and updates.

Their prospective virtualization solution also needed to be able to deliver customized applications to its public servants working on various devices, including Windows and Mac. The public government organization needed to deliver homegrown applications to around 150 concurrent users.
